Obituary of Betty H. Moolick
Betty H. Moolick, age 84, of Guilderland, passed away July 26, 2018. She was born March 11, 1934 in Amsterdam to the late Isaac and Genevieve Hughes.
After graduating from high school, Betty went on to obtain a Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Oneonta and a Master's Degree from SUNY Albany. She served for 28 years as a teacher in the Schenectady City School District.
Betty's passions in life were her family and her home and before her illness, she was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Schenectady, serving on the Alter Guild for many years. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and collecting antiques.
Betty was predeceased by her best friend and loving husband, Robert, of 46 years. She is survived by her grateful and loving children; Michael Moolick (Lorelie) of Altamont, Lisa Harvey (Jeff) of Berne, Matthew Moolick (Paula) of Rotterdam, and Lora Morrow (Bob) of Guilderland. In addition, she was the proud grandmother of Michael, Kelly, and Ben Moolick, Samantha and Elizabeth Harvey, Riley and David Morrow, as well as her new great-grandson, Aidan Moolick.
Calling hour will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 11am – 12pm at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, with a funeral service to follow. Interment in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
