Obituary of David W. Kotmel

David Kotmel, 41, died suddenly at home on June 5, 2018. He was born in Albany, NY on April 8, 1977. He lived his entire life in Guilderland, NY. David attended Guilderland High School from 1991 – 1995 before going on JCA. He later earned his Computer Support Technology certificate from SCCC and went on to do volunteer work in the tech support industry. In recent years, David has provided tremendous support to his aging parents through elder care, as well as helping with anything and everything around the house. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his parents, Allan and Marjorie Kotmel of Guilderland, NY, his brother, Allan Kotmel, Jr. of Leesburg, VA and a nephew and a niece, Alexander and Melina Kotmel of Leesburg, VA. Calling hours will be held at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont NY on June 12, 2018 from 10 am -12 PM, followed by a funeral service at 12pm. Interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Guilderland, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the American Heart Association.
