Obituary of Barbara J. Yuhas

Barbara J. Yuhas, died following a long illness on April 24, 2018. She was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1934. In 1966 she moved to upstate New York living on a farm outside of Middleburgh and West Berne. She recently resided with her husband of almost 40 years in Guilderland, NY. Barbara worked at Guilderland Center Nursing home for many years where she met many dear friends. She is survived by her husband Bernard Yuhas; her children Patricia Smith, Maureen McCarthy, Laura Tracy-Ireland (Michael), William Tracy, Barbara Gaffney (John); 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the incredible staff and volunteers at St. Peter's Hospice Inn for their care and compassion for Barbara in her final days. A Memorial Service will be held at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont NY on June 2, 2018 from 12-2PM.
