Obituary of Linda Carman
Berne, NY- Linda Stevens Carman ,74, died on April 22,2018 surrounded by her loving family after a brief battle with cancer at Albany Medical Center. She was born on Dec.8,1943 the daughter of Albert and Marguerite Stevens. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, William ,her son and daughter in law William and Joeann and her daughter and son in law Bonnie and John Conklin. She is also survived by her siblings Philip Stevens, Doris White, Alyce Gibbs, Kathy Walls and Lester (Rusty) Raymer. She was the loving grandmother of Rick Riley, Paige Clark, Heather Huth, Christy Staiger and Jeremiah Conklin as well as her greatgrandchildren Erick, Charlotte, Joshua, Maisey, Lincoln and Edward.
She was retired as a clerk for the US Postal Service after twenty years of service. She was the current president of the Hilltown Senior Citizens Club where she was very active.
Calling hours will be on Wed. April 25,2018 from 5-8pm at the Rock Road Chapel,96 Rock Road, Berne NY
A funeral service will be conducted at the Rock Road Chapel on Thurs. April 26,2018 at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Hilltown Senior Citizens Club or the Storehouse @Rock Road Chapel.
