Marina, so sorry to hear about the passing of John. He and I go way back to our childhood days on North Main Street. Through the years we still remained friends and he was always a supporter of our family. His suffering days are over now even thought he fought right to the end. I am sure he will be hunting, fishing and reliving the past with my Dad up in heaven. May they have a joyous reunion.

My condolences to Marina and all the family at Johns passing. I remember John when I joined the VRGC in 1987 and went hunting many times with him, Joe, Weezy.. etc. John was a true friend and an outstanding man who will be greatly missed. Much sadness to hear of his passing.

john will be surely missed by many. to me, john was a friend you don't find to often. he was a true friend. when we grew up from when we were young, we always were close. we used to fish at night down in the vly creek. these will times i will never forget. when i moved away, we still stayed in touch. i hate to lose these friends, but i never want them to suffer from their illness . jjohn, you rest in peace and i will see you in awhile.
