Obituary of Gloria J Chardeen

Gloria Chardeen passed away peacefully at home in Altamont, NY on Thursday, September 16, 2021. Gloria was born in Albany, NY to Henry and Edna Bink on October 10, 1940.

Gloria was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Delmar, NY.

Gloria worked as a secretary for many years for the Guilderland School District, retiring as the secretary to the superintendent. She was honored at a celebration of retirees at the school board meeting on May 28, 2002.

Gloria is survived by her sons Gregory (Kathy) and Todd (Donna) and two grandsons Corey Hough and Phillip Chardeen. She is also survived by her sister Alice (Donald) Schoneman and brother Robert (Rose) Bink and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her sister, Beverly (Douglas) Riggs.

A funeral service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Avenue, Delmar, NY 12054 on Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mark Mueller officiating. Burial will be private.
