Obituary of Michael J. Miller

Michael J. Miller, 63, of Knox died April 18, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was a 1976 graduate of Warsaw Central School and a 1980 graduate of the State University at Oneonta. He was a Program Manager for NYS Tax and Finance Departmentfor 33 years. Mike loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being outdoors. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 25 years, Ellen (Parmerter) Miller; his children, Haley Miller of Fultonville, and Dillon Miller of Knox; his mother Kathleen (Shakely) Miller of Warsaw; his sister Lisa (Mike) Patterson of Warsaw; his brother Kevin (Suzenne) Miller of Warsaw; and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his son, Matthew Howard Miller, and his father, Howard J. Miller. Family and friends are invited to attend services on Thursday, April 22, 2021, from 4pm to 7pm at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, NY. There will be an additional service in Warsaw, NY on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11am at the United Church of Warsaw, 22 South Main Street, Warsaw, NY. A private burial will be at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Mike to Helderberg Ambulance, 978 Cole Hill Rd., East Berne, NY.
