Obituary of Joseph A. Novak

Joseph A. Novak, 76, passed away Wednesday August 21st peacefully at home following a valiant struggle with metastatic colon cancer.  He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather, and friend to many. His humor, smile, and calming presence will be greatly missed.

Joseph is survived by his adoring wife, Noreen (Gadd); his son, Joseph W. Novak, and his wife, Lara; his daughter, Jodi Novak Wey, and her husband, Aaron Wey; his grandsons, Jeffery and Michael Novak, and Ian Wey ; granddaughters, Kelly and Katie Novak and Natalie and Camille Wey;  his brother and sister-in-law, James and Pat Novak; his sister and brother-in-law Judi and Dennis Kruzynski; his sister-in-law, Peggy Novak; along with many additional belovedfamily members including siblings of Noreen, their spouses, and numerous nieces and nephews.   He is predeceased by his two sons, Richard and Jeffery Novak, and his brother John ("Jack") Novak. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 pm Saturday, August 24th at the Altamont Reformed Church, 129 Lincoln Ave, Altamont, NY.   Family and friends are invited to the Wey residence following the service for food and company.  The address is 12 Solana Lane, Altamont (located at the end of GI Rd, Altamont).
